- Arrangements for a librarian-led session on any aspect of library research skills specific to your syllabus or assignments, may be made by submitting a request for a library instruction session from our homepage, under Library Services.
- Textbooks are available for library use at the Circulation Desk.
- Notebook computers and headphones are available to check out and use in the library.
- A collaboration studio is available for use in the Group Study area on the 4th floor. Call x8024 or visit the Circulation Desk in L523 to reserve time. Walk-in use is welcome too.
- NVCC students, faculty, and staff may borrow materials from public or academic libraries throughout Connecticut by locating and requesting materials from the InterLibraryLoan service at iConn.org. An NVCC Banner ID number is required. For help, stop by the Reference Desk in L523, call the Reference Desk at x8244, or contact Liz Frechette at x8106.
- Faculty and staff may contact Alison Wang at x8250 to recommend items for the library’s collection.
- Databases for research are accessible both on and off campus from our homepage, under Find Articles. Log in to my.CommNet.edu (click the Library tab) for off campus and wireless access.
- Assistive technology is available for students with low vision or blindness. Contact Jaime Hammond at x8199 for more information or to set up a training session.
